Commonwealth v. B.J. – Improper Storage of Firearm

10/21/14

– Quincy District Court

– Quincy Police

– Warrant issued for client after a search warrant of a home that he had been staying at turned up four firearms that were not properly stored. Although client had an FID and License to Carry, they were issued from another city and had not yet been transferred to Quincy. After a thorough investigation, including researching the search warrant as it related to both the client and a co-defendant, Attorney Seed was able to get the DA to dismiss the two count complaint against his client on court costs. Client did not have to make an admission to the crime, which would have had a negative impact on his current employment status.
