– BPD drug control unit set up surveillance on a home in Allston after getting several complaints from the neighborhood that it was a “drug house”. On the incident date, detectives witness client pull into the home’s driveway and a resident come out and enter his car. After a short ride around the block, client drops his passenger off back at the house. Police follow client and stop him car on the Mass Pike. He admits to buying marijuana and a search of his backpack reveals several other controlled substances. Client is summonsed to a clerk magistrate’s hearing where Attorney Seed is able to reach an agreement with the Detectives and Clerk Magistrate. Client’s case will be held open for one year in the magistrate’s office and if he’s able to avoid any further criminal action during that time, the case will be dismissed prior to arraignment.
