Commonwealth v. N.Z. – Noisy and Disorderly House

– 2/25/14
– BPD
– Brighton District Court
– In a case that received much media attention, Attorney Seed was able to prevent his client from being charged criminally. Boston Police broke up a party at 85 Linden Street in Allston in January and summonsed the residents to court. The residents had previously been summonsed for a party last September. Attorney Seed’s client was not involved in the first hearing because he was attending school in California. At the hearing, Attorney Seed was able to convince the clerk magistrate not to issue charges against his client. He was leaving school and was seeking treatment back home in California where he will also complete community service hours. He still maintains a clean criminal record.
– The other residents had the charges issued against them and were sent to jail for 3 nights by the judge.
