Commonwealth v. R.B. – Larceny From a Building

– Attleboro PD
– Attleboro District Court
– Client summonsed to court for Larceny charges in relation to an incident that occurred at a local chain restaurant. An entry on client’s record would have been devastating to his career and current occupation. Attorney Seed worked for two months contacting the DA’s and the Attleboro PD in an attempt to have the matter dismissed prior to arraignment. Both parties would not assent as that is not commonly done in Attleboro court. On the day of arraignment, Attorney Seed was able to go to sidebar with the police and DA and talk with the judge about the impact an arraignment would have on his client. After the sidebar hearing, the Judge dismissed the case prior to arraignment, thus saving the client his job and career.
