Commonwealth v. J.J. – OUI / Leaving the Scene

3/7/14
– Plymouth District Court
– Pembroke Police
– Client was highly intoxicated one afternoon and involved in a car accident. He fled the scene and was later apprehended by police. Client had a shot history of alcohol abuse but was also severely ill. Based on the situation, Attorney Seed acted quickly to help client seek a program that could both treat the substance abuse issue as well as his need for dialysis. When they returned to court on March 7, Attorney Seed was able to get several charges dismissed and the OUI continued without a finding for one year. If client completes his probationary requirements, then the case will be dismissed after one year.
