– Client charged with first offense OUI – alleged to have been speeding and driving recklessly on Rt. 28 in Medford.
After taking a few minutes to pull over for the trooper, client parks his car on the curb.
Trooper has client perform one leg stand and stops test halfway through for client’s safety.
Attorney Seed able to cross examine trooper as to client’s ability to respond appropriately to all questions and provide all required documentation. Also able to draw out that client was able to properly function during ordinary tasks such as getting out his car and walking to the rear of the cruiser.
Not guilty after trial.
Attorney Seed also filed a motion after trial to have client’s license immediately restored. Motion allowed.
